Bulova is proud to continue its sponsorship as the official timepiece of the BNP Paribas Open, the first major tennis event of the season on U.S. soil. This event will feature the biggest stars in tennis, including top ranked players Rafael Nadal, Kim Clijsters, Roger Federer and Caroline Wozniacki, facing off on the hard courts of Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Bulova will have a presence on the stadium’s digital clocks and on radar speed guns, tracking the blistering serves that regularly exceed one-hundred miles per hour. Bulova is also proud to bring fans “Tennis Talk” with legendary tennis writer and commentator Bud Collins and special guests. Fans can listen in to "Tennis Talk", where they can answer Bud’s question of the day for a chance to win a Bulova watch. Bulova will also be offering chances for fans in attendance to text in to win prizes and watches throughout the tournament.
“The BNP Paribas Open is very pleased to be continuing its partnership with Bulova, a category leader,” said Steve Simon, tournament director. “They are an excellent sponsor, and actively look to leverage their presence by engaging and adding value to the fans throughout the entire event.”
Bulova is proudly celebrating its second year as sponsor for the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells Tennis Garden. This sponsorship builds upon Bulova’s legacy of innovation in sports, which includes such highlights as the development of the Bulova Phototimer, the first sports automatic timing device, as well as being named the official watch of the US Olympic team for the games held in Calgary and Seoul.
