Parking Meter
Archive Series
Product Description
Inspired by the iconic original introduced in 1973 during “The Golden Age of the Bulova Chronograph,” Bulova is proud to present the Archive Re-edition of the sensational timepiece, known as the “Parking Meter.” The return of the coveted classic features the reimagined signature design of the dial configuration, resembling a classic parking meter – which gives this model its notable nickname. It is further distinguished by the unique placement of its pushers and the crown at the 6-hour. The silver-tone and slate-blue stainless steel case features a silver-white chronograph dial showcasing the parking meter and includes a calendar, tachymeter, and dual time ring. The 6H rotates the dial ring that measures a 2nd time zone. Finished with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, it also features a sporty padded top-stitched brown leather strap with buckle closure and water resistance to 100 meters. Limited to 5 ,000 individually numbered pieces worldwide, this highly sought-after timepiece is a Bulova collector’s favorite and a must-have for watch enthusiasts who want to own a piece of Bulova’s storied history.

I Love This Watch
So let me start out by saying I am a new serious collector. I stay away from originals because I don’t want the headache of fixing old movements and I like new. That feeling, I’m told , will change very soon if I continue learning and buying at the rate I am currently. One piece per month is what I can afford and spend on average , 600-1000 per watch. (2 standouts are the Longines Master Chronometer, calendar moonphase for 3500 and Breitling Super Ocean Automatic 2023 44 Turquoise dial.) I love them both, like ridiculously. This watch is more my average price point, and I had not acquainted myself with any Bullhead Style watches prior to seeing this. I think this is a wonderful re-edition, better than the original, and I love how it sat on my wrist. It doesn’t rest like normal watches because of the lug angles, so caveat emptor you may want to try it on the wrist before buying. I love the Bullhead style, it’s my only one presently, and I’m sure will be one of many. The dial is interesting, and while not the ultimate conversation starter, I wear watches for me so I don’t care. But when someone does recognize it, you will become their best friend. The dial colors are subtle but classic and the case is solid. It wears a bit larger than stated size and fits my 7 1/4 inch wrist perfectly with 2 notches left for summer swell. This watch is best for casual work and play and I haven’t tried to dress it up. It will remain in my weekly rotation for months to come, I reckon. Have a great day and enjoy.
